SMALL TOWN GIRL
Growing up in a small town (my graduating class was 35 people!), I didn't think much about building wealth. I was a first-generation college student just trying to get my degree in Psychology and make a living helping people. But soon after I got my first job and $26,000 salary, I started dreaming about life beyond the burnout cycle.
So, I did the scary thing: I completely pivoted my career, went back to school, and spent every day learning what I could about mastering my biggest career and financial goals. I had no idea back then just how big I would go.
NUMBER CRUNCHING IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE
After getting my BS in Psychology, I went on to get my Ed.D. in research methods and became an expert data analyst for a startup company. I was quickly promoted to Director of my department, then to Vice President of all-things data and numbers. I was managing multi-million dollar research grants and running financial projections for the business.
My love of numbers started to overflow into my personal finances: I created budgeting templates, invested thousands in the stock market (now worth over $300k), bought 3 rental properties, and cut 20 years off my retirement date. When I talked to friends and family about what I was learning, I realized that they had never been taught these simple money tips. I was hooked, and I knew I needed to share this information with more women.
MONEY ESSENTIALS WAS BORN
I launched Money Essentials for Women to teach women around the world how to make the most of their money, from developing a powerful money mindset (you are capable of more than you know!) to simple strategies to earn more money & grow your money through investing.
I've been able to transform my life, and I want to help you transform your life too.
